English transcript of the video.
Farah Khan: "In an Indian home, the kitchen's Vastu is extremely important. Today I have brought South Africa's most famous astrologer and Vastu expert, Mahesh Bang, who will explain to me what I should do. Thanks to him, our YouTube channel is soaring. So, Mahesh ji, where are you? Please come in."
Mahesh Ji: "Hi, mam."
"Mahesh ji, namaste. What are the elements of Vastu that we should follow?"
"There are five fundamental elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space."
"Is there only one direction for every Indian kitchen?"
"The southeast corner or area is actually considered the fire element."
"My Kitchen sits northwest."
"But according to Feng Shui, northwest is also correct, and your kitchen already has positive energy. It's world-famous - you are inspiring and entertaining people. Before you sleep, the kitchen must be clean. When you are doing work in the kitchen, then don't bring your shoes in. Every year, distribute food parcels made from your kitchen- so that your kitchen gets enhanced by your doings. I know, you make very good food parcels. Make sure there are no leaks in your kitchen- it represents money flowing out (of your bank account)."
"Mam, 1 very important thing: Don't keep medicines in the kitchen.
Wherever I go, in India, medicine is in every home- (you might feel) it's a very comfortable zone. Otherwise, you'll eat it like you're eating food."
"Any Colors which should be avoided in the kitchen?"
"Don't use blue (paint)- it's the colour of water. (Clashes with fire element)"
"See. We did it blue last time- We changed it. Correct. Thank you Mahesh ji."
