Focusing on well-being - Maintaining a positive is attitude key to overcoming anxiety and depression - Mahesh Bang

Q: KINDLY assist me as I have been getting really sick recently. I have been to the doctor but there has been no change.

A: According to your horoscope, you are very lucky as five planets, namely Jupiter, Saturn, Mars,  Venus and sun are exalted (planets to be present in the most happiest zodiac sign) or in its own sign,  also another notable point is  that you are too young to fall  sick continuously.

There are two possible reasons behind your illness.

  1. Due to Covid-19 and its effects on every human being, anxiety or depression is now a consequence for some. A few may even be unaware, as they may experience this at a subconscious level and it somehow manifests as a health issue, with no proper treatment.
  2. At the beginning of this year you entered into Saturn (Shani) Sade Sati period.

The following will help overcome this:

The first thing we need to do is to maintain a positive attitude always. If any person close to us  falls ill we become worried. We should be stable so that we become a pillar for them.

However, due to anxiety we forget how important it is to stay strong emotionally.

Provide care and love, but remember to remain optimistic, this is one thing we can do to give strength to our dear ones.

And it directly improves our lives as well. It is best to prevent getting infected, this is by following all the measures and protocols put in place, maintaining good personal hygiene, etc.

Whether one has had the infection yet or not, it is still very important to do the following to build your immune system:

  1. Drink plenty (8 to 10 glasses) of water. This empowers the moon in your horoscope which governs  lung-related matters.
  2. Have Tulsi leaves every day.
  3. Drink ginger tea every day.
  4. Have foods rich in vitamin C.
  5. Eat more vegetables and salads.

Aside from the above, our circumstances are now pushing us to focus on our well-being.

It is extremely beneficial to do the following:

Meditate every morning, in Brahm muhurat a – pranayam, that is breathing exercises like Kapaal bathi, anulom vilom, etc.

Yoga, even as a beginner, can be very beneficial.

Exercise every day, a good cardiovascular exercise is a great way to improve your overall health.

If there is anything Covid-19 has taught us, it’s how important it is to stay strong and healthy physically, emotionally and mentally.

Dedicating at least one hour daily towards our own health and body, is no longer an option, it’s a necessity.

There are many apps which can be very helpful, such as Simple Soulful. It contains ways and methods for meditation, yoga, nutritional diets, healthy food recipes, nutritional plan, energy juices etc. are available. This app was launched and presented by Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.

With limited social interaction, these apps are ideal to inspire us every day to live healthier and happier.

Mantra chanting is an excellent way to improve your mindset, destiny and the vibration of your home.

For you, I recommend Om Namah Shivaya and Om Shree Hanumate Namah 21 minutes each everyday. It will also help you to overcome Shani Sade Sati effects that may be causing health issues.
